Opinions on the centerpiece/ideas?

Ok so for my second Hindu wedding that is being held in a covered tent in the backyard of his parents house. With linens like this

http://www.yourweddingday.com/ywd/images...

but in red, and no chair covers (it looked so bad)

I was thinking of using the largest one (with the flowers in it) of these vases

http://www.potterybarn.com/products/p332...

And then surrounding them with these going every other size. With orange tea lights.

http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.asp...

This would leave me with about 220 dollars for the floral for the centerpieces.

Number 1: could arrangements be done (without carnations) for 220 dollars for each?

Number 2: is this going to look ok?

Number 3: What kind of arrangements can be done, they have to match the red. Other then that any jewel tones, and no white.

Opinions on the centerpiece/ideas?
First off, or course you can do $220 per table for flowers. I'm using orchids %26amp; other tropicals %26amp; mine are only $40-$60 per table, so considering what you're willing to spend, I'm getting a picture in my head that would be extravagant, large, tall, lots of color . . .

Some options first on greenery %26amp; fill-in, would be Bells of Ireland (which I'm also using)

Twigs for height/interest:

http://willowdreamsfarm.com/Curly.jpg

You could use gladiolus. They're really impressive height wise %26amp; there's every color imaginable, including red %26amp; oranges.

My favorite is the orchid. The taller stems w/ smaller flower are Oncidiums:

http://www.baileyorchids.com/types/oncid...

If it were me, I would think that fuchsia Dendrobiums would be a must:

http://www.beautifulorchids.com/orchids/...

Lilies are another great option, especially because there are so many colors %26amp; types. The Asiatic Lilies come in red, like this:

The Gloriosa Lily is also red %26amp; I love the way they hang:

Hope that helps a little!
Reply:i think its pretty. you could do arrangements for 220 you could choose less expensive flowers, or you could do one or two big flowers per table. at one wedding i saw arrangements made out of nothing but baby's breath and it was really pretty and fairly inexpensive.. another thing you could do is use silk flowers, reasonably priced ( better if they are on sale) and you dont have to worry about dealing with a florist you dont know. good luck!
Reply:Here's an idea.... for silk or fresh to conceal the stems, just add pretty ribbon in the water with a few long stemmed flowers:

Reply:It probably depends just on where your future in-laws live. I know it could be done here, but the cost of living is very low in KY compared to other places. The further out of the city you are, the better chance there if of getting them for your price.

You don't have to make deals with the florists right now, but can you just kind of bop around to the shops in the town and ask to see some of their work? Maybe you could look at the more elaborate displays and inquire about the pricing for those to get some idea.

I think the arrangements themselves will look beautiful, but you may want to do a trial run with one complete set of the vases and some silk flowers, just to make sure that everyone seated will be able to see each other clearly around them and be able to converse freely.

I think lilys (not calla, but tiger and other field lilys) are beautiful and would work well, and gladiolas would be gorgeous. They come in all kinds of jewel tones. For the shortest vases, daisies might be okay...but a mix of yellow and red or something. Leave the dyed blue and green to someone else! (I've always thought that looks so unnatural.)

Best of luck!
Reply:I think you could definitely do something for $220, you just need to pick bigger flowers, things that take up more space so you need less of them like hydrangeas, peonies, dahlias, sunflowers, etc. The idea sounds really pretty.
Reply:They are all lovely. However, my only concern is that at every wedding I have been too, the tall centerpieces seem to impede conversation. They also interfere with picture taking.
Reply:Not really sure what you are paying for that vase with the flowers in it but I just purchased 8 of the exact same thing at the Christmas Tree Shops for 12.99 ea.
Reply:I don't know about floral arrangements, but I'm sure you could do BEAUTIFUL ones for 220 each. I think you have great taste, the linens are beautiful and I love the candle holders/flower holders you chose for the tables.
Reply:I would use a lower center vase because you want guests to be able to see over it so that they can converse with each other. I would pick one size of the votive candle holder that is lower than the vase and use that either four or six of them around the vase. Arrangements can be done for a lot less than 220 with using a vase that size. Even if you do all red roses, it wouldn't cost 220 for flowers. I think I would compliment the red instead of trying to match it because reds are very difficult to match.
Reply:Old tires would look nice.

Who gets flowers?

I've got to start interviewing florists soon, and I'm trying to make a list of the flowers I'll need for our wedding. I've got the centerpieces and the bouquets down, but I'm not sure who all is supposed to get a boutineer or corsage. Obviously the groomsmen get boutineers and the mothers get corsages, but who else? I want to have an accurate count so I can figure out my floral budget. Thanks! Oh, and what other arranged bouquets will I need as well? I know I'll need a couple of arrangements for the altar, but what else?

Who gets flowers?
Okay!! Other than your bouquet and the centerpieces on the dinner tables, make sure you have other tables counted as well- if you are doing anything for the buffet table (if you are having one), gift table (ditto), guest book table, etc.

A few arrangements at the altar are nice, also decide if you want to have anything at the end of the pews and if so, are they going to be floral?

Dont'd forget flower petals - for the flower girls (if theyre allowed to drop them), as well as possibly having guests throw them on you (instead of rice, etc.), and possibly decorating tables with them.

For boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets, you have obviously the bride and groom, then the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and then mothers and fathers. Some people also choose to honor grandparents with corsages/boutonnieres, or any other guests you want to distinguish, such as godparents. It is also very nice to have anyone who is doing something for you in the ceremony, like reading or singing, to have one.

Also decide on if you want flowers or some other topper on your cake.

Oh and if your flower girls arent or cant drop petals, make sure you have something for them - a mini-bouquet or a pomander ball, or something.

And decide if you are planning to throw the bouquet-you may want a smaller, less expensive "tossing" bouquet instead of using your real one if you want to keep/preserve your own.

All of this is optional-you can stick to the bare bones (wedding party and parents) or flesh it out the the rest of this, but there shouldnt be anything I didnt put on the list that is usually done. Don't forget if you want to save money or do things a little differently, you can use silk flowers instead of real ones, you can choose what types of flowers you use-different ones cost A LOT differently, you can have bridesmaids carry candles or flower girls ring bells, etc. You can also get bouquets and boutonnieres made out of swarovski crystals which are really pretty, or you could do non-floral centerpieces (like floating candles, etc). Just some ideas; good luck!!!
Reply:Don't forget the ushers. And congratulations!!!
Reply:You'd be just as married if you had no flowers at all, so the answer is "anyone you'd to whom you'd care to make a gift of flowers." Generally the bride has some sort of bouquet (to later throw) and the groom has some sort of buttonhole blossom. Everything beyond that is really just icing on the cake. If your florist tries to tell you otherwise, tell your florist that Miss Manners says and that he/she is just trying to pad the bill.
Reply:Some brides include the grandparents as well. I think it's a nice gesture.

Good luck
Reply:We did-

Great Aunt (because my grandmothers are passed), his 5 sisters who are not in the wedding, sister's husband not in the wedding, fathers, mothers and the groomsmen and bridesmaids and of coarse us.

Extra- Church flowers- talk to the church about what you need.
Reply:The fathers should get boutineers as well. Otherwise, I think you've got it covered.
Reply:Fathers of the bride and groom should get boutonnieres.

You may want to give boutonnieres and corsages to the grandparents of the bride and groom.

If you or your groom-to-be have godparents you may want to consider giving them boutonnieres and corsages too.
Reply:the florist knows.
Reply:Your bridesmaids, groomsman, the groom and the bride. Then the parents get one, perhaps the grandparents. Don't worry about anyone else.

As far as decorative flowers, I suggest ditching anything that isn't for your reception tables. Flowers are by far one of the biggest wedding rip offs. They cost a lot of money and die. Depending on your church/ceremony site, you may not need additional decor. BTW, I used ProFlowers.com, and they were great.
Reply:The flower girl needs petals. Get a buttonhole for the ring bearer. And the bridesmaids get bouquets.
Reply:A lot of the time bridesmaids get flowers as well. and any other who are in the wedding party like sisters brothers in laws and so forth you really need to know who is going to be part of the ceremony and what not cause they should have flowers and yes your grandparents should have one as well nieces and nephew don't really need then only if they are old enough to have one or ware one

you should also find pictures of flowers and arrangements that you like so you can show the florist what you would like to have

hope this helps and good luck
Reply:A good loving heart is all you need.

Best Wishes

Have you used Farmstogo.com?

I just found this site and they have great prices on flowers.

I am doing simple arrangements and my FMIL BFF (lol) took a couple courses on floral design and bridal design. She is going to help for free. Just buy the supplies. So needless to say, I have a great thing, if I can get the flowers I want for great prices.

I just want to know what you thought about them, or if any other wholesale dealers were awesome and you want to share!

Thanks!

Have you used Farmstogo.com?
I haven't used these suppliers, but I've heard good things about Fresh Roses. (They were recommended in that Bridal Bargains book.)
Reply:Hi. No, sorry, I have not used that particular wholesaler, so I cannot vouch for their service. I have used Rosesource.com, though, (see link below), for my son's wedding. They seem a little higher, but I can vouch for their service and on-time delivery. It's really scary ordering online (for sure!), but they did all arrive and we were extremely happy. You can read my testimonial on their site under "customer comments." It's signed Gail B.

This is a good site i havent order from it but it does have a lot of good cheap flowers on it.

Can you tell this in your own words?

Place a sheet or two of colored tissue paper over the foam. It is thin enough to be pierced by the fruit arranged on sticks and will both cover the foam and provide the tissue paper look of a floral bouquet. If you have some hanging over the edges, this can be "fluffed up" once the fruit arrangement has been made.

Can you tell this in your own words?
Over the foam place 1-2 sheets of colored tissue paper over the foam, this will cover the foam, thin enough to be penetrated by the sticks of fruit and give a wonderful addition to the floral bouquet. Do not worry if you have extra because you can use this after the arrangement is complete to add flavor and details.
Reply:stab the apple with a toothpick, cover the Styrofoam with pretty paper and shove the apple on a toothpick into the foam through the paper. make pretty after.

Can anybody tell me what she want to tell ?

Prepare the arrangement by pokeing the base end of a stick into the florist foam. The tricky part is to achieve the "floral bouquet" look. Try to imagine the fruits going up in a bouquet shape, with a pointed middle piece and with the bulk of the fruits layering out to the sides. Use your original; sketches and designs in this stage, but do not feel you have to follow them, follow your creative instincts first.

Can anybody tell me what she want to tell ?
The paragraph describes how to make an arrangement that looks like a floral bouquet using florist foam, a stick, and fruit.

What are "Water Jewels" made of?

Has anyone else heard of them? They are sold at craft stores in the same department as floral design supplies, as vase fillers for fresh or silk flower arrangements.

They start out as tiny hard spheres; the clear color variety looks just like the silicone dessicant found in shoe boxes (to keep them dry). When you leave them in water for about 1 hour each one swells up to about marble size and becomes a beautiful clear or colored sparkling orb. Then they are squishy and slippery. Most amusing.

The package is about 2 inches across and contains 200 or so. They come in clear, blue, and green so far but they CAN be colored with food coloring as they expand.

Warm water makes them expand faster.

They shrink back to original size when they dry out in about a week!

Salt destroys them completely.

What the heck are they???

What are "Water Jewels" made of?
I just looked at the package I have. It just refers to product as poly crystals. No where on the packaging does it state what they are made of. It just says it is a non-toxic polymer that absorbs water. I guess that's the best answer we're going to get.

Anybody know where i can find real stargazer lilies in bulk online?

i'm going to be ordering flowers in bulk and having a family friend do my bouquets and arrangements (she's experienced.) i've looked at the sam's club website, they have other kinds of lilies but not stargazers. these are my favorite flowers, and i'd really like to have them for my wedding. are there any other bulk floral websites out there?

Anybody know where i can find real stargazer lilies in bulk online?
Lilium or stargazer lilies are also known as oriental lilies (not asiatic) and can be bought in bulk at costco online
Reply:http://www.flowerbud.com/flower-market/g...
Reply:Try theflowerexchange.com They've got lots of flowers you can order and good prices.

Are they seasonal? Sams club used to have stargazer lillies online.
Reply:I have heard good things about www.freshroses.com....last I checked they had more than just roses you could get and the prices aren't bad either.

Proflowers.com is pretty good but the prices are a little high

Flowerbud.com ditto

Talk to the florists in the area...perhaps they would be willing to sell the you lillies but at a discount since they wouldn't be doing the arrangements. Some of the nice ones might even tell you who their supplier is so you could order directly from them.

How can I make this flower arrangement? HELP?

I was watching a wedding show, and saw a floral arrangment simmilar to this...

http://www.timelessmomentz.com/Floating_...

How do i get floating candles like that?

and do i just use water?

Can I use any type of flower?

Thanks =]

How can I make this flower arrangement? HELP?
You can get floating candles anywhere. Less than $2 a piece. Try google search "Floating candles."

You just use water.

You can't use any kind of flowers. The petals have to be firm. Soft petals won't hold their original shape when they are submerged into the water. The one you see in the picture is called "Mokara Orchid." Either this one, or you can use Dendrobium Orchid (cheaper) or Cymbidium Orchid (expensive).

Don't use silk. They are too soft; besides, they are too buoyant.
Reply:i don't know if that is water or a special oil. i have seen both. you can buy floating candles almost anywhere. you could use whatever type flower you wanted, silk would last a long time.

http://i.ivillage.com/HH/slideshows/Spri...
Reply:I would recommend silk flowers because not all flowers do well submerged in water like that for long periods of time. All you need is the floating candles and the glass votive which are cheap. Any craft store would have them but i would try and find them online.

How do I remove my TeleFloraThomas Kinkade Church from the plastic floral base?

The Church sits atop a plastic base that holds the "foam" that the flowers were stuck in. We haven't been able to remove the Church from the base to replace the batteries and to use it alone since the flowers and greenery died and have been thrown out. To see an example of the type of arrangement it was, you can see the 2007 version at the Telefora website. The person at the 800# couldn't tell me how to do it. Here is a direct link to the TeleFlora arrangement for 2007.

http://www.teleflora.com/product.asp?id=...

How do I remove my TeleFloraThomas Kinkade Church from the plastic floral base?
If you look at the bottom picture it looks like the base has been removed - unless the base you are talking about is what appears to be snow.

If you are afraid to do this take it to the florist that delivered it and ask them to show you how to remove the base and replace the batteries.

Hope this helps. :)
Reply:duct tape
Reply:Here's how you remove the church:

1. get a sharp knife, lots of old news papers, a small garbage bag, needle nose pliers, a large screwdriver with ice, and a pair for gloves.

First if there is carpet involved or small pets or children you want to play it safe and spread out lots of old news papers. Grab a tall glass from the shelf and fix yourself a tall "screwdriver" with lots of ice.

Next put on the thin rubber gloves (so you will not break a nail or scratch your hands) then take the needle node pliers and carefully remove all the floral arrangement. Put the pieces into the garbage bag.

Third: Get your very sharp knife and carefully cut away the attached Styrofoam around the bottom of the church. Put all the foam into the small garbage bag.

Fourth: Now you should be down to the "nitty gritty" and take a good look under the church for a little trap door. Then remove the old batteries and replace them with new ones. Not just any batteries, get EverReady and you will be all set.

Good luck in your venture!

I need some general ideas please?

Sarah’s Flower Designs is a fledgling, home-based business in Madison, Wisconsin, consisting of three employees. Sarah, the owner, handles all of the floral arrangements. Her assistant, Mark, handles the purchasing of flowers, related materials, and takes telephone and walk-in orders from customers. Mark also keeps the financial and client records in order. Kim is the delivery driver and makes local deliveries to homes and businesses.

Sarah’s Flower Designs is looking to upgrade its computer system (an older model PC) to help keep up with the growing demand of their customers. They would like to house their client information and order histories on their new system, as well as bill their customers electronically. They also want Kim to have a way to keep track of customer addresses and specific delivery instructions while she is on the road. What IT recommendations would you make for Sarah’s Flower Designs?

I need some general ideas please?
I suggest you use a tracking system. Write down everyone actions.

It seem like Mark is a great worker.

Place a sheet or two of colored tissue paper over the foam.

YOU GET THESE IN THE GREETING CARD SECTION AT YOUR STORE. A GREEN FOAM SHAPE AND 1 OR 2 OF THOSE LARGE PIECES OF SUPER THIN DECORATING PAPER. WRAP YOUR FOAM.

It is thin enough to be pierced by the fruit arranged on sticks

YOU HAVE SOME DECORATED STICKS. YOU PRESS THEM INTO THE FOAM. THIS HOLDS THEM TOGETHER.

and will both cover the foam

O.K. WE DID THAT SO THE GREEN DOESN'T SHOW.

and provide the tissue paper look of a floral bouquet.

THE EDGES OF YOUR PAPER POINT UP LIKE THE WAY THEY SELL FLOWERS WITH THE STEMS WRAPED UP.

If you have some hanging over the edges, this can be "fluffed up" once the fruit arrangement has been made.

DON'T CUT OFF THE EXTRA PAPER AT THE TOP. WAD IT UP TO HANG BELOW THE TOP OF THE STICKS.
Reply:cover the foam with a sheet or two of colored paper. the fruit arranged on the sticks can pierce the sheets of paper. both will cover the foam and give it the look of a floral bouquet. once the fruit arrangements have been made, the sheet hanging over the edges, can be fluffed up

Please name some flowers that would make a nice wedding bouquet?!?

I'm getting married Nov. 1st and a friend of my fiance's family said as our wedding gift she is going to pay/do all our flowers (yippy)! She has been asking about what flowers do I want in mine and my bridesmaids bouquets. I have no idea?! I know my colors are apple red, silver and white. I was thinking that my bridesmaids have white flowers (since they're dressed in red) and mine be red. Can you please give me some good floral arrangement ideas? Thanks!

Math Combinations/Permutations Question?

A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

I know it has been asked before but the answer given was unclear. Any help appreciated thanks

Math Combinations/Permutations Question?
First 3 positiion = Banksias

So 6 x 5 x 4 = 120

Second 3 Positions = Wattles

5 x 4 x 3 = 60

Third 3 Positions = Waratahs

So 4 x 3 x 2 = 24

120 x 60 x 24 = 172800

There must be 3 banksias, 2 wattles and 1 waratah left to take last position

therefore 6 ways to take last space

So 172800 x 6

= 1036800
Reply:for a bunch of 10 flowers ( at least 3 from each kind of A ( 6 ), B ( 5 ). C ( 4 ) ways are = C(4,4)*C(5,3)*C(6,3)

+ C(4,3)*C(5,4)*C(6,3)

+ C(4,3)*C(5,3)*C(6,4)

= 1*10*20 + 4*5*20 + 4*10*15

= 200 + 400 + 600

= 1200 ways
Reply:permutations are an ordered set without repititions. combinations are an unordered set of unique combinations. For example, both 2,3,5 and 3,2,5 are acceptable subsets of a permutation. However, a combination considers these to be the same subset.

In your case, with the flowers, either the question is very simple and the answer is three, or it's very complex and I don't feel like getting into it.
Reply:Basically you need to determine how many combinations per type of flower there are. Then you know you can "combine" those seperate "choices"/combinations together to get your 10 flowers.

So (6 choose 3) = # of ways to arrange those 6 flowers (# of ways to combine them/choose)

Do the same for the other two groups of flowers (5 choose 3) and (4 choose 3).

Finally you need to select 1 flower. We have already choose 9 of the total 15, so 6 are left. So the last flower would be (6 choose 1) which is 6.

So the total number of ways to choose 10 flowers would be:

(6 choose 3) * (5 choose 3) * (4 choose 3) * 6

Half Whiskey Barrel Fell Apart?

I have not used my half whiskey barrell for 2 years. I was told to store it upside down so it would't fall apart. When I picked it up, the whole thing came apart. I want to put it back together, but it keeps coming apart afer a few boards are put back in. Does anyone know how to fix this. Do I need to soak the boards before I try this to get them to swell up. Any help would be appreciated.

When my Dad died I was given a floral arrangement in this barrel, so it is special and I would really like to save it if possible. Any help would be deep appreciated.

Half Whiskey Barrel Fell Apart?
u mite need to soak the boards to get them to expand and then when soaked up enough try to put them bk together once it back to normal and the floral arrangement is in keep the wood soaked or wet it stops the boards drying out which will make the boards fall apart again. cant remember wot the opposite of expand was.
Reply:If you do get the barrell together you should put wire or a strip of metal around the barrell to hold it together so it won't come apart again.

What grabs your attention when ordering flowers, color, design, what?

Ive ask that question because I am a florist and this shop has experience growth this past year.

We want to stand out in the floral industry. We offer already other free services that other shops dont offer. Such as pictures of their arrangement or gifts sent to their emails , so they can enjoy the gifts as well. This has really made a difference with our customers. Some of our customers have said they stop ordering online because they were recieving products that just wasnt what they ordered.

What grabs your attention when ordering flowers, color, design, what?
My main thing when ordering flowers is the color selection. I like deep, rich colors like pumpkin orange, chocolate brown, blood red, etc. Like fall colors, mostly.
Reply:i look for something more interesting than just flowers. a decorative vase that can be used again. maybe river rocks and twigs that can be saved after the flowers die. beautiful ribbons and bows. oh--and i hate those generic business card size greetings that come on the arangement. people will spend $50 for a nice arangement, and then they cheap out on the card! i wish there were classier choices in this area.

i really enjoy progressive, trendy looks, almost a japanese style, a feeling or emotion should be conveyed through flower arangements.

Would a libra like an Edible Creation?

lol I always get my sisters their birthday gifts early or at least start thinking about them early on, so I'll have enough money to spend. Well, I always got my older sis (who is a libra) clothes and she seems to never think they are good enough. Last year I got her a beautiful 18K gold star charm bracelet that was over 300 dollars. Still she was not fully satisfied. So...this year I am just going to get her something different. An edible creation is an edible fruit arrangement that looks like a floral arrangement. What do you think?

Would a libra like an Edible Creation?
I am a Libra and I would love it if someone gave me an edible, decorative (at least until I eat it) and beautiful gift like that.

It sounds like you've put a lot of thought into your sister and if she doesn't like this she won't like anything!

It's a beautiful idea and so very thoughtful of you! You sound like a really sweet person.
Reply:I'm also a Libra and it sounds great to me.

Is it possible that you intimidate her and she uses her nonchalance about your gifts to get back at you? When people are always rude it is either because they don't know any better or its about Power.
Reply:moral: never buy expensive gifts for ungrateful siblings. lol im a libra and if you were to buy me an edible gift, the best gift would be... chocolate! yum lol. all the librans i know(my sister, my aunty, me, etc...) are obsessed with chocolate. were chocoholics!!! yum... might raid the fridge for some chocolate now... lol!
Reply:Well, your sister sounds really rude for rejecting your gift like that. I mean, who would do that? Anyway, what I would do is not get her anything. But that's just me.
Reply:I'm a Libra, and I would love people giving me presents with sincerity, its the thoughts that counts for a Libra, really..

Helpppppppppp?

A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

Helpppppppppp?
Call the flowers 6A, 5B, 4C. All the flowers of each kind are different =%26gt; each combination of them is unique.

So Pascal's coefficient gives the formula for choosing m objects from a collection of n unique objects:

C(n,m) = n!/(n-m)!m!

Number of ways to make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

# = Number of ways choosing 4 of A, 3 of B and 3 of C

+ Number of ways choosing 3 of A, 4 of B and 3 of C

+ Number of ways choosing 3 of A, 3 of B and 4 of C

= [C(6,4) * C(5,3) * C(4,3)]

+ [C(6,3) * C(5,4) * C(4,3)]

+ [C(6,3) * C(5,3) * C(4,4)]

= [6!/4!2! * 5!/3!2! * 4!/3!1!]

+ [6!/3!3! * 5!/4!1! * 4!/3!1!]

+ [6!/3!3! * 5!/3!2! * 4!/4!0!]

= [6!/4!2! * 5!/3!2! * 4!/3!1!]

+ [6!/3!3! * 5!/4!1! * 4!/3!1!]

+ [6!/3!3! * 5!/3!2! * 4!/4!0!]

Factorizing out a common factor (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!)

# = (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!) *

( [1/2! * 1/2! * 1/1!]

+ [1/3! * 1/1! * 1/1!]

+ [1/3! * 1/2! * 1/0!] )

= (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!) *

( 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/1]

+ [1/6 * 1/1 * 1/1]

+ [1/6 * 1/2 * 1/1] )

= (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!) * ( 1/4 + 1/6 + 1/12 )

= (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!) * ((3+2+1)/12)

= (6!5!4! / 4!3!3!) * 1/2

= 6!5!4! / 4!3!3! 2

= 6!5! / 3!3! 2

= (6*5*4)(5*4)/2

= (6*5*4)(10)

= 1200

I would like some assistance please?

Ok, so, there is this girl i really really REALLY like! but she goes to college 5 states away! :( And i tried bringing up the whole "what are we?" question, but i didnt get a clear answer (i dont think she tried to make it cloudy) and i didnt want to press it. Now she has asked me to go to her family's for thanksgiving. I already said yes, but should i like bring a floral arrangement for her mom or something? and how can a i casualy bring up the "what are we?" question without seeming like a creepy naggy guy? Im so confused! please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like some assistance please?
I think the floral arrangement is a must for her mom.

There must be something for the girl as well but not as good as for her mom.

Don't mention "what are we" topic.

She invited you to her home and it means something.

Time will show.
Reply:Five states? Hope you live in New England and not out West!! What are you...you are five states away is what you are...enough said...
Reply:I think it would be nice to bring a flower arrangement for her mother, or a bottle of wine (depending on how old you are and if they are wine drinkers or not). Nothing too fancy or too costly, however.

If you want my opinion, I think you should just enjoy the time together. The more good times she has being with you (no pressure, etc.) the more things will go in your favor, if you know what I mean. Wait until a time when it is just the two of you to bring up the question again. If it isn't an answer that you are going to like, how awkward, for one, if you bring up during the middle of a Thanksgiving get-together. I think you will know when the time is right to bring up the question again. I think it is a good sign that she invited you to dinner though! Good luck!
Reply:Look this is what you do...Bring her mom the flowers, and when you go and talk to her this is what you say, tell her that you really like her and you would like to know where you stand in her life, to know if she looks at you as a friend or more...
Reply:Just do it..in what ever way you know how. You will eat yourself up forever if you hold it in. I know it is hard and you feel out of place. This is what life is about. Maybe you can ask her hat she thinks of you and then you can tell her what you think of her. Good luck and be blessed.
Reply:well just bring some desserts over like apple pie or something.the flower thing sounds nice too.but i'm pretty sure she won't mind you asking again.so just have the guts to ask her!you can't waste your life asking "why?" live your life!
Reply:Flowers are a nice idea, but don't go overboard.

Tell her you may seem dense, but you're not sure enough of yourself to know what she meant when she wrote back.

Gotta tell you, getting invited to Thanksgiving dinner is a step in the right direction. Be on your best behavior, they'll all have something to say to her about you.

Good luck.

3.) The leading Between the lines in the following block of text is _____ Points.

C- centered.

D- full justified.

Elements Of Design -- Desktop Publishing.?
What we're looking at on Yahoo isn't what you're looking at, Lisa, so we can't give you measurements that are accurate.

But this may help you figure it out.

Picas and points are measurements--like inches, yards and miles are measurements, but smaller. There are 6 picas in every inch or 72 points in an inch. So for question #5 (I'll take the easy one first), measure the width of your line of text --(let's say it's 2 inches) then multiply by 6 to get the number of picas (2 x 6 = 12 picas). In question 5, answer B would be exactly 3 inches in length and D would be about 4 1/3". I'll let you work out the other two.

Question 6 is easy: look at your sample paragraph. If the words all line up down the right side of the page, but zigzag down the left edge, it's A. Answer B is the opposite: words line up on left side of the page, but don't on the right.

If they don't line up on either side, go with answer C and if they line up evenly on both sides, the paragraph is fully justified (D).

No one can give you a definite answer for Questions 3 and 4 because only you can see the actual type in your question. But here's a suggestion for Question 3: in MS Word or another word processing program, choose a font like Ariel with a type size of 10. Type in and print out your paragraph and see how it matches up. Does the font look similar? If not, try another, such as Times New Roman.

When you get a font that looks like the one in your sample, print it out and compare it to your sample. Adjust the size until you get it to match exactly (if you're lucky!). Then look to see what point size that is. A 12 point Ariel is much larger visually than a 12 point Times, so to make this work, you need to find the exact font and size. It's important to print it out each time because computer monitors distort sizes.

Or, you can buy a points ruler which will help you measure the height of the letters (point size) and the leading (the distance from the bottom of of the type on line 1 down to the bottom of line 2. 1/4" = 25 points and 1/8"=12.5 points, but it is very difficult to measure with a standard ruler.

If the lines of type are touching the lines below and above, the answer to question 4 will be the same as # 3. But usually type is set with at least 2 points of extra space (leading) between the lines.

Even if we were seeing the exact font you see, our monitors all are set slightly differently, so what looks like 12 point Times Roman on your monitor would look an entirely different size on another person's.

You can also take your sample to the office of a printer or newspaper and they can tell you the answers to questions 3 and 4.

Hope that has helped!

Maths Question, HELP!?

Question 1. Show that 43^n + 83 x 92^(3n - 1) is divisible for all positive intergers n.

Question 2. A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

Maths Question, HELP!?
1) 43^n + 83 x 92^(3n - 1)

***You can solve this with recurrence:

1- Prove this is true for n=1

2- Prove that if it is true for n, it is also true for n+1

Then it is true for any strictly positive integer

**************

For n =1

P(1) = 43^1 + 83*92^(3-1)= 702,555

702,555 = 7*100,365

So it is true for n=1

**************

if it is true for n, then P(n) = 43^n+83*92^(3n-1) = 7q

where q is an integer.

Let us know verify it is true for n+1:

P(n+1) = 43^(n+1) + 83*92^(3n+3-1)

P(n+1)= 43^(n+1) + 83*92^(3n-1)*92^2

we know that: 83*92^(3n-1) = 7p - 43^n

Let us replace that in the previous formula:

P(n+1) = 43^(n+1) + (7p - 43^n)*92^2

P(n+1) = 7p*92^2 + 43^(n+1) - 43^n*92^2

P(n+1) = 7p*92^2 +43^n(43-92^2)

P(n+1) = 7p*92^2 - 43^n*8,421

8,421 = 7*1,203, so:

P(n+1) = 7(p*92^2 -43^n*1,203)

P(n+1) is divisible by 7.

so P(n) is divisible by any integer n%26gt;0

Question 2. A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

Pick a banksia = 6

Pick a banksia = 5

Pick a banksia = 4

Pick a wattle = 5

Pick a wattle = 4

Pick a wattle = 3

Pick a waratah = 4

Pick a waratah = 3

Pick a waratah = 2

Remaining flowers = 3 banksias, 2 wattles and 1 waratah = 6

Pick a banksia / wattle /waratah = 6

So, total ways

6 x 5 x 4 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 6 = 1036800
Reply:And provide CORRECT answer (1036800???) too! Report It
Reply:Q1. Divisible by what, I don't see? By 7 as Mika has supposed? Well, that can be done directly, which is much shorter than inductively:

43 = 42 + 1 = 7*6 + 1≡ 1 (mod 7);

83 = 84 - 1 = 7*12 - 1 ≡ -1 (mod 7);

92 = 91 +1 = 7*13 + 1 ≡ 1 (mod 7), so

43^n + 83 x 92^(3n - 1) ≡ 1^n - 1*1^(3n-1) ≡ 1 - 1 ≡ 0 (mod 7).

Q2. Sum 10 can be obtained by 3 ways:

10 = 3 + 3 + 4 = 3 + 4 + 3 = 4 + 3 + 3, then the answer is

(6C3)*(5C3)*(4C4) + (6C3)*(5C4)*(4C3) + (6C4)*(5C3)*(4C3) =

200 + 400 + 600 = 1200, much less (3!3!4! = 6*6*24 times) than Mika has found.

Here nCr is the number of combinations of "n" things, taken "r" at a time.

Reply:if you want nice flowers on some important tables like parents tables or immediate family you can use your bridesmaids bouquets for small centerpieces. this is a really useful and frugal way to reduce the number of centerpieces you need to buy/create and if you have a large wedding party or a small guest list you can really save money this way!

candles or bowls filled with water and floating candles, loose flower petals strewn across the table, all these small touches look really great under dim lighting in a reception hall and save room on the table for the china.
Reply:A good friend of mine purchased picture frames and placed pictures of all the people that will be at the wedding in the frames and put them on the tables, pictures of the past and present. Then you have conversation pieces plus pictures to keep for years to come.
Reply:3 cylinder, glass vases(all different sizes or just one large), filled with water and one orchid anchored down in the water(so the flower is completely submerged). It doesn't have to be an orchid....just one exotic, delicate flower with a pretty stem. Votive candles surrounding the vases all placed on a circular, mirror. Congrats!
Reply:GIRLFRIEND RUSH TO YOUR NEAREST DOLLAR STORE BUY 2 OF THE GLASS CANDLE HOLDERS FOR EACH TABLE PUT PINK CANDLE ON FIVE TABLE AND BROWN CANDLES ON THE OTHER FIVE GET 10 IVY VINE ALSO AND RUN THEM AROUND THE CANDLE HOLDERS GET A BAG OD HERSEY KISSES ALL SLIVER AND SPRINKLE GOOD HANDFULS AROUND THE ARRANGEMENT YOU HAVE SPENT MAYBE 25.00 HOPE THIS HELPS
Reply:Go to a craft store like Michael's and buy candles and surround them with small silk flowers--get 3 different size candles so they are different heights--wait until they have what you want on half price sale. Or you can buy flat mirror squares and sprinkle confetti on them with a candle in the middle--the mirror reflects the light and it is beautiful. Or sprinkle rose petals or whatever your flower girl will be sprinkling down the aisle down the middle of the tables. Or make a centerpiece for each table with a collage of pictures of the bride and groom, from childhood up. Or...well, there are just about a thousand different things to do! Honestly, though, centerpieces don't have to be that expensive. You can use inexpensive flowers like carnations, daisies, baby's breath, etc., with a lot of green. Forget your florist. Go to someplace like Costco or Sam's club--you can get something that will match or coordinate with your wedding flowers for about $15 each, and no one will be the wiser. If you make something else, in the end you've only saved maybe $100. Think about it.

A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind?

Can u please help me?
Three ways. That′s because if she has to use at least three of each flower that leaves room for one more flower only , then choosing among the rest of the flowers you can make only three combinations of bunches.
Reply:If she has to use at least 3 of each kind then that takes of 9 of the 10 spots. So the difference would be what she put in the 10th spot. she has three choices.

Can you write this in your own words and make shorter?

Prepare the arrangement by pokeing the base end of a stick into the florist foam. The tricky part is to achieve the "floral bouquet" look. Try to imagine the fruits going up in a bouquet shape, with a pointed middle piece and with the bulk of the fruits layering out to the sides. Use your original; sketches and designs in this stage, but do not feel you have to follow them, follow your creative instincts first.

Can you write this in your own words and make shorter?
To prepare making the arrangement, poke the base end of a stick into the florist foam. You want to achieve a "floral boquet" look which is done by imagining the fruits placed in a bouquet shape that is peaked in the center and layering out to the sides. Use your original sketches as a guide, but follow your creative instincts first and foremost.

Ladies, what do you think you will be getting for Valentine's?

Besides extra lovin', what do you girls think you will be receiving/doing this Valentine's Day? I'm thinking I'll get this floral arrangement I hinted at and a dinner at a restaurant with a waiting list (fingers crossed). Probably no jewelry for me though, he's kinda a cheapskate lol.

He is going to cook me a meal and a lovely dessert so i am content.

I am not sure whether he will be surprising me with anything but that will be an added bonus.

I like his cooking so I am happy with what he decided to do for me.

Im not big on valentines day seeing as we try to be romantic or go really out of our way for one another from time to time to keep things special.

Permutations and Combinations?

A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 banksias, 5 wattles and 4 waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use aat least 3 of each kind?

Thanks very much in advance

Permutations and Combinations?
First put 3 of each:

3 banksias

3 wattles

3 waratahs

That means you have 9 out of 10 flowers already.

You have to choose one more, out of three types.

The answer is:

3C1 = 3.

I am getting married in July 2008 : colors are sage, ivory, dusty yellow and copper.?
You should begin looking for floral vendors now and check to see what they've done in the past ... let them know what your colors are and what styles you like and they can go from there. A lot of them will put together samples - for a small fee - so that you're sure you like the designs.
Reply:Baby Chrysanthemums with Baby's Breath, tied with sheer ribbons of all your colors. I love you colors, by the way.

Congratulations to you!
Reply:there is not going to be simple flower arrangement if you have a million colors.

it's hard to pick an arrangement without seeing the dress or knowing the setting...
Reply:To punch up those colours a little bit, I would have a mixed coloured bouquet with a mixture of flowers as well - pinks, yellows, peaches, a little purple - with the greenery. You could have a combo of carnations, daisies, sweetheart roses, alstromeria, etc.

Reply:Alcatraz or white roses.
Reply:Make several appointments to interview several florists. That is why you go to a professional. The florist will know the best flowers to complement your colors and budget. Do not be shy about setting and keeping a budget. They deal with bride after bride all year long and know that everyone has a different pocket book. You know what you can spend and the florist knows what flowers will be in bloom that time of year in your colors and price range.

Congratulations.

Centerpiece ideas? Pink/Yellow/Blue colors? help?

I'm not sure what to do for the centerpieces this a fairytale princess/prince theme wedding.... I've been shown the horse and carriage candle holders. I don't really like them. It is very traditional in my family that the centerpieces be something that at the end one lucky guest at each table usually walks away with. I want it to being something they can cherish that makes them rememeber our wedding. Even ideas for floral arrangements are welcome! thanks!!

Reply:I like Mrs. S idea above. i would want ot take that home.
Reply:One idea I saw on here for a cinderella theme wedding was to use ceramic pumpkins. The girl painted them and then she sprayed them with glitter spray. Then you could use glitter, votives, etc around this. I thought that was a unique idea.
Reply:How about a nice bowl with floating candles in those same colors? It'll make the room look pretty when all the lights are off except for the candles. Or you can use white candles and use food dye to change the color of the water in the bowl. :)

EDIT - Pastel colored vases with white roses or lillies?
Reply:I like the ceramic pumpkin idea. For a more formal look, you could try to find a crystal or porcelain pumpkin vase, and have your pastel floral arrangements inside. A dozen pastel colored roses would look good. Accent with candles.
Reply:hmmm, little sand castles.....? Pretty paper covered storage boxes filled with silk flowers? How about an actual book of fairy tales with a pretty cover.. .you could drape it with a string of silk flowers.
Reply:Well, I am not sure how many tables you are planning to have, but what if you did each of them after different fairytales?

Maybe you could do a white pumpkin centerpiece? I am sure there are many ways to dress it up.

Absolutely I would. I am infact, a sensuous and goddess-like trombone player myself. I really enjoyed your piece. Well written and entertaining after a tiring work day. Hey doctor, can you keep a secret? (joke)?

Liz Taylor goes in to see her cosmetic surgeon. "I have met the man of my dreams, finally, the love of my life !" she announces to the surgeon, "But I need you to help me with a small problem. This man is only 18 years old, I am truly head over heels in love with him, and don't want to disappoint him in any way, so I want you to make my vagina look like that of an 18 year old."

The surgeon tells Liz of the delicate situations involved with this operation, but does finally agree to performing the said operation.

"But one thing" Liz says "you have to swear to me that no one knows about this operation, that no magazines or tabloids hear about it!"

"I swear Liz" the surgeon replies.

The big day arrives, Liz goes under the knife, the operation goes text book perfect and she is moved to a recovery room. Upon regaining consciousness, Liz's eyes focus on three huge floral arrangements at the foot of her bed. As the surgeon enters the room to check on her, Liz bursts into tears.

Question! Could you do this if you were really angry ?

The following is supposedly a true story. To be included, besides being true, the story is most likely strange, weird, surprising, or funny.

Phone Won't Stop Ringing?

Here's What You Do

Leola Starling of Ribrock, Tenn., had a serious telephone problem. But unlike most people she did something about it.

The brand-new $10 million Ribrock Plaza Motel opened nearby and had acquired almost the same telephone number as Leola.

From the moment the motel opened, Leola was besieged by calls not for her. Since she had the same phone number for years, she felt that she had a case to persuade the motel management to change its number.

Naturally, the management refused claiming that it could not change its stationery.

The phone company was not helpful, either. A number was a number, and just because a customer was getting someone else's calls 24 hours a day didn't make it responsible. After her pleas fell on deaf ears, Leola decided to take matters into her own hands.

At 9 o'clock the phone rang. Someone from Memphis was calling the motel and asked for a room for the following Tuesday. Leoloa said, "No problem. How many nights?"

A few hours later Dallas checked in. A secretary wanted a suite with two bedrooms for a week. Emboldened, Leola said the Presidential Suite on the 10th floor was available for $600 a night. The secretary said that she would take it and asked if the hotel wanted a deposit. "No, that won't be necessary," Leola said. "We trust you."

The next day was a busy one for Leola. In the morning, she booked an electric appliance manufacturers' convention for Memorial Day weekend, a college prom and a reunion of the 82nd Airborne veterans from World War II.

She turned on her answering machine during lunchtime so that she could watch her favorite soap opera, but her biggest challenge came in the afternoon when a mother called to book the ballroom for her daughter's wedding in June.

Leola assured the woman that it would be no problem and asked if she would be providing the flowers or did she want the hotel to take care of it. The mother said that she would prefer the hotel to handle the floral arrangements. Then the question of valet parking came up. Once again Leola was helpful. "There's no charge for valet parking, but we always recommend that the client tips the drivers."

Within a few months, the Ribrock Plaza Motel was a disaster area.

People kept showing up for weddings, bar mitzvahs, and Sweet Sixteen parties and were all told there were no such events.

Leola had her final revenge when she read in the local paper that the motel might go bankrupt. Her phone rang, and an executive from Marriott said, "We're prepared to offer you $200,000 for the motel."

Leola replied. "We'll take it, but only if you change the telephone number."

Question! Could you do this if you were really angry ?
dont think its true however it is a great story. i know we do that sometimes to when they call us instead of a pizza restaurant :P
Reply:Probably an urban myth but a good story anyway. May try that because my phone number is only one away from a local florist, and I have also taken an order for flowers after several calls in one day....so it does happen.
Reply:Yep, I'd do it. But I sort of doubt if she and the hotel had the same numbers if they were in the same town. They would both be getting the same calls. Just like having an extension phone. This sounds more like an Urban Legand.
Reply:Yes i would do the same lol :D

I mean the owners of the hotel weren't thinking that a regular person would do something and got a surprise :D The story is awesome even if its a myth ;D
Reply:It's an urban legend. It didn't really happen. Sound like a good idea, though.
Reply:I couldn't do it myself, I would feel too badly for the weddings and stuff. I think it's a very good story and love the little guy winning. Thanks for the laugh.
Reply:wow really interesting.

i probably would do it b/c they decided not to change their number.
Reply:You say:

Question! Could you do this if you were really angry ?

I say:

Absolutely and without loosing a moments sleep over the deal...
Reply:This sounds like a script for a Steve Martin comedy. I had to laugh even while feeling sorry for the people who were left in the lurch.
Reply:Cool. I like it and I'd do something similar.
Reply:No, I couldn't do that because she was punishing the wrong people!! She should have just asked the phone company for another number!! They give you a choice of three different numbers!! lol
Reply:lol.....loved it....will have to remember that....used to get calls for some pharmacy...they had the same number...different area code
Reply:that's awesome. I would so do that.
Reply:She's got guts. I think what she did was the right thing to do.
Reply:HA!!! Thats funny!
Reply:I like her style!!Good for her.
Reply:So there is such a thing as divine justice!!!!
Reply:Oh, I DO hope it's true!!
Reply:She is really good with that kind of stuff. i would do it to....thats so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Reply:I don't think I would be able to think of doing something like that but good on her!
Reply:fair play 2 her but that is going way 2 far
Reply:i like it
Reply:WOW! That would teach them to mess with her alright. She must have a lot of energy. It would have been a lot easier to change her number! I know it's the principal of the thing but still. I would be afraid to mess with a company that big! I might go to start my car someday and have it blow up in my face! It's a great story as always!!! Keep the coming!!! :-)
Reply:HA HA HA, ok i guess its not funny for those poor people who have been effected by it - eg the wedding party.

Serioulsy though if i were that woman then yes i would do that out of anger. why? because us little people are always put 2nd place by large corporate companies who only pay attention to us when we are fillig thier pockets.

The issue should have been resovled at the start and the hotel should have changed their number. thats such a simple thing to do. Tackling a huge company like that is not something that anyone does.

I think the hotel got what they desrved if its a true story. The only sad thing is that there were innocent victims who should not have suffered.
Reply:That was one determined woman, even if it was a contrived

story. I wouldn't be as quick to think as she apparently was.

I've had the same number as a business, in the past, and

would get annoyed with having to tell the calling party that

the number was not for the party they were seeking, but a

private residence instead. I eventually called the phone co.

and asked that they straighten it out. Apparently it was a

phone book error.
Reply:I very much doubt I could do it, but, if true, I don't blame her a bit. It is funny and sad. Taken at face value, she could have done something a little different. Taken the reservations then handed them into the motel. Kept all the recorded phone calls and again go to manager or contact home office, but I like what you wrote the best.

Getting Married in 4.5 weeks..?

So our big day is fast approaching and its kinda snuck up on me. I have all the big things done like venues, caterers, photographer, cake, dress, etc

I know I still need shoes

A ring pillow or box

To choose my floral arrangements

Choose my hair style and BMs hairstyles

Groomsmens gifts

To make our Favors %26amp; order of events programs

I need to find a decanter set for our sand ceremony

I also need to have a manicure, pedicure and have my hair trimmed and the roots redone but is there any other little things that you wished you'd done or you forgot?

Every bride i've been around was completely dressed for the last 2 months before the big day but I don't feel overly stressed except for when my mother starts taking over.. but i feel like i'm forgetting something?!?

Getting Married in 4.5 weeks..?
Never underestimate the importance of lists. Here's a short little list of lists you should have ready for the big day:

1. Schedule of events just to have an idea of if you're staying on track all day (hair/makeup appointments, pictures, pre-ceremony rituals, cocktail hour, reception, cake-cutting, etc)

2. List of pictures you want photographer to be sure to get (groups of people, special moments, etc.).

3. List of songs for band/DJ (and a list they should NOT play!)

-Also, you may want to get envelopes %26amp; $ for tips for all your vendors ready so you can hand them to them discreetly the day of. Also make sure there aren't any outstanding balances with any of those vendors (some need to be paid in full before the wedding).

Good luck, and congratulations!!
Reply:Have you confirmed that someone is handling the bachelor party / bridal shower party . . .
Reply:uuummm so what's the question?
Reply:you have probably gone over this list 1000 times in your head since you found out you were getting married.

you are forgetting one thing...

relax.

you will have it all done in time!

everything will fall into place on your special day!

enjoy it!

hope its the beautiful wedding of your dreams!
Reply:the question is ..... IS SHE FORGETTING ANYTHING! LOL! I don't think you are....just relax!

Where can I get inexpensive tealight or votive holders?

My centerpieces will be very small, very simple floral arrangements. I want to put small candles around the centerpieces. I don't know whether I will use tealights or votives, but I will probably prefer votives if I can find some inexpensive holders. I don't care if they weren't actually made to hold candles, as long as they are the appropriate size. I probably need about 75 to 100. Clear glass is preferred. I know I'll only use these once, so can someone tell me where I can get some at an inexpensive price?

Where can I get inexpensive tealight or votive holders?

Also post on websites like www.freecycle.com (people give away stuff they don't want/use) and ask family and friends to borrow theirs. You may end up spending some time to clean out old wax but if you are truly on a budget this can help.

The other great thing about getting them from a store (wait for a 40-50% candle sale at places like Hobby Lobby and you can get them for about .15 cents each!) is that when you load up the cart with 200 votives the salespeople usually give up counting and sometimes it can work in your favor.
Reply:Walmart. They're 33c each and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping like you would anywhere online.
Reply:You can get small clay pots that are votive size at Home Depot or Lowes. They can be spray painted any color, too.
